Step Aerobics!!!
Today is my day off from C25K, but I did 30 minutes of step aerobics!! Woohoo! I'm pretty excited about getting that in, and tomorrow is another C25K day! I was still 119 this morning when I weighed, but I'm hopeful that I will start losing again soon! A little here, a little there... that's all it will take! Soon enough I will be 5 lbs down and then down 10!!
5 Foods to Flatten Your Belly

I did it!
C25K week 3 day 1 that is!! I even went for a little longer than scheduled (I made it to 30 min) and burned 300 calories!! Or so the treadmill said. Anyway... I'm just so proud I got it done! Yippeeee!
I think we're going to have stir fry tonight for dinner. Mmmmm....

2008 Menu Planning
In 2007 I used the Body Clutter Menu Mailer. A year's worth of recipes, all relatively healthy, planned for me week by week. It was a great plan and I came away with a bunch of great recipes. But it's been a year now, and I've been slacking on printing out the recipes each week, and I'm not really using it now. In fact, I've sort of slacked on meal planning in general. So I guess it's a new year and time for a new plan.
So for 2008, I'm stealing Dana's idea!! I'm even going to plan out breakfasts, snacks, and lunch. I think that will help me give Eliana a better variety of foods, as well as think about the balance of my own foods. Here's what I've got so far:



It'll be a 5 day flexible rotation, so if we want to do something else that night, no big deal. The lunches are for Ellie, not me. I'll have to figure out what I'm doing for lunch based on what we're having for dinner, what I had for breakfast, and how many calories I have left for lunch. But I will follow this basic plan for breakfast and dinner, at least.

Couch to 5K... day 2
Today was day 2 of the Couch to 5K plan. I went for 30 minutes this time, and walked/ran with the incline on 2. Maybe on Friday I can move the incline to 4.
Weigh In
I weighed myself this morning. It looks like I gained 6 lbs over the holidays. So.... now instead of having 4 lbs to go to my goal, I have 10. Ergh. BUT... I can do it.

Back to SparkPeople
Today I start recording my food again. So I did. And I found out that the wonderful breakfast in bed Leif made me cost me.... 700 calories. Ouch. I'm not trying to limit my calories today so much as get back in the habit of recording. But I am pretty sure I gained about 7 lbs over the holidays, so I will eventually (and sooner, rather than later) have to cut back on the calories.
Perhaps if I cut back on the eggnog with breakfast... *sheepish grin*
