You know you've started off on the wrong foot...

... when breakfast is a ding dong. I raided the secret stash that, until today, hasn't been a temptation. But today started with it and didn't get much better in the food department. I started counting calories, but forgot to measure and record after lunch, so we'll just call it a wash and do better tomorrow.

A DING DONG! I'm laughing out loud! You're dieting. I recommend perging the house of all such secret stashes! I would have to eat the entire stash and then re-start the diet the next day. That, I'm afraid has been my version of perging the house of secret stashes in the past.

Ha ha! I can't rid the entire house of my "good" foods, because when I'm really craving something I find that it's better for me just to eat what it is I'm craving and factor in the calories than it is to try to deprive myself. When I deprive myself I end up eating about a zillion calories worth of other things trying to satisfy that craving I could have satisfied with just 150 calories of indulgence!
