I made it!!

115.4 today. That means I lost .8 yesterday. Another .6 and I'll be down to my lowest point yet and I can work on my next goal, which is....

110 by July 19.

That's what I am aiming for this summer! 5 lbs to go in 5 weeks. That should be totally doable. And I'll look great for Ellie's birthday party that day. =D

I'm counting it.... Microchallenge results!

Well, my scale wavered between 115.8 and 116, but did eventually land on 115.8, so I'm counting it! I reached my microgoal!

Tonight is the Protocol dinner, so I'm not going to worry about counting points or calories today. I won't over indulge (after all, it's not polite!) but I am just going to go and enjoy myself. Tomorrow my mom comes, so I will be back to counting calories and points then.

I'm going to be good today...

Well, even with my sabotage yesterday, I'm down .6 lbs today, taking me to 116.2! So we'll see if the sabotage just takes a day to kick in, but I'm going to try to be very good today, and drink lots of water, and see if I can't make it down to 115.8 tomorrow! How crazy that I am so close to actually making my microchallenge goal when I was so sure it wouldn't be possible after the 2 lb fluctuations that lasted 2 weeks!

So no more sabotage! I'm going to be good today.

Down again

Just a bit, but I'm down again. Woohoo! And I dropped into the 116 range (116.8, but still!) so I get to change my ticker! It also means that I'm 1 lb away from my micro goal, which I was (and am still given my progress so far!) trying to reach by Friday. There is still hope! Even if I don't make it all the way to 115, I'm still pretty happy with my progress, and I get to wear my little dress to Protocol! So that all makes me happy. In addition to that, I've had 4 people tell me how thin/trim/good I look in the last 3 days! That does WONDERS for my spirits!

Weigh Day: MicroChallenge Week 3

Rats! I'm up a pound from last week. Looks like I really need to step up the exercise. I think I'll walk Ellie down to Bible study this morning. Weighing in at 119. That leaves me 3 weeks to lose 3 lbs. I think I can, I think I can, I think I can...

Weigh Day: Microchallenge Week 2

I haven't lost much in the past few days, but I'm weighing in this week at 119 lbs, which is down from last week's weight of 120. Specifically, I'm down .4, which is almost a half pound, but considering I had that REALLY BAD day and was up 2 lbs the day after that, I'll take the slight loss and call it good.

I'm hoping to be at 118 by this time next week. Here we go!

Weigh Day - MicroChallenge Week 1

Weight: 120.0
MicroChallenge Goal: 115

I am SO close to being at 119. So close, in fact, that I weighed myself twice hoping it would dip to 119.8 the second time I weighed! Sometimes my scale fluctuates by .2 lbs, but today was not one of those days. So today I weigh 120 and I hope that I'll be at 119 by next Wednesday!

Micro-Goal

I need a micro-goal. Something small to work toward that I can achieve relatively quickly. Having a timeframe or deadline really helps me get where I want to be (like the class reunion in September - I lost 15 lbs for that!), so I'm going to give it a shot.

I found out today that my mom is coming to visit in 6 weeks. I also have a semi formal event to attend that same night, so that is motivation to look good!

So my goal is to lose 5 lbs in the next 6 weeks, by May 10. That will put me at 115 lbs, the weight I was at the class reunion in September. It's a little under a pound a week. I think I can do it. Here goes.
